Well that was quite a mouthful from KMM. He certainly represented those who can't see the forest for the trees. And that's all I'll say about that...

Damn Steven, I am finding these posts to be terrific! As always, understanding another's perspective and perception of the world is key in everything when dealing/interacting with other people, regardless of the situation or degree of intelligence.
My recent post <a href="http://wakefielddoctrine.wordpress.com/2012/02/01/youve-always-been-the-same-personality-type-now-you-know-who-and-why/" rel="nofollow">You’ve always been the same personality type. Now you know who and why.</a>

It's a lot easier to deal with stupid people if they are not primary family and ruining your life by their stupidity. If it's your spouse, kid, parent, or sibling, it's almost unbearable and it's crazy-making. Hard to detach from family, but you must to save your own sanity. You have to go. Period. If it's an employee or friend....D. Trump says it best....."You're Fired"....end of sentence...now go be happy.

When I started getting more physical activity and slowly eliminating junk food, my mood is better. It's improved a bit now and I'm slowly getting out of forgetfulness! Though the change isn't that huge yet, I'm noticing small changes.

Although I cannot imagine nude psychotherapy, I guess whatever works is called for. I'd be interested to have from some of the patients.

Productive procrastination falls into two categories, structured and unstructured. With structured procrastination (via pmarca, via via 43F) you use the desire to avoid an important task as motivation to crank out dozens others. Anything to postpone what you really need to do, right?
Whenever I need to avoid something important, I turn to a few tasks that rarely get the attention they deserve.
