I do agree that depression is a stepping stone. And i am thankful for those the understood my situation at the moment of being hopeless. After i recovered, i feel a lot of strength and readiness to face the world again.

The thought processes of someone suffering from depression can be disturbed by the least little occurrence. That is why it is so important that the person try to be as kind, gentle and patient with themselves as possible. If you give yourself permission to get through your depression in the best way you know how, it removes unrealistic expectations which can lead to downward spiral of guilt, blame, and self-criticism.

Once again a wonderfully written post that can inspire hope for those suffering from depression. As Sarah McLaughlin sings, that "sweet madness this glorious sadness that brings me to my knees" can be a source of great creativity. A pathway to some deeper meaning. I look forward to reading your ebook.
