It's true - if you want to be loved, go share your love with others. It makes me feel good inside when, for example, I get up from my seat on the bus without saying something, and the person sits down. If I verbally offer my seat to them, they often won't take it. But there is this beautiful secret satisfaction from doing it silently and watching it take place with no confusion or consternation. I also like to write little notes to strangers every now and then - unobtrusive little thoughts scrawled on a piece of scrap paper. I'll see somebody who catches my attention and quickly scrawl "I really dig your style" and hand it to them, then walk away a certain distance so that it's understood that the compliment comes with no riders attached. It definitely feels awesome to do. I will be coming back for more. This stuff correlates well with what I write about. I love this post.
