Add some love, a bit of good quality tea, a warming home and you get happiness. Happiness depends a lot on the people around you on, as Steven said, "life circumstances", but either way you can make your life happier by just adding a small colored origami to your desk or by taking some time off for yourself.

I think circumstance also plays a big part in the happiness of a human being. Let's use the twins separated at birth as an example. Say the first one was brought up in a happy, stable environment, I imagine she would be living a happy and fulfilling life. Now, let's say the other twin was brought up in an unstable environment, I'm inclined to think that she would have a much lower chance of being happy, if not depressed, with her living situation. What do you think?

Nice this is a really interesting article. I didn't know gene play half portion of the factors that affect happiness. But I think the most important is still intentional control, we are the one that decides how our own life will be. Thanks for sharing this with us..

People are happy for a lot of reasons – they can be happy because they have had a good day or because they feel like they can rule the world. I think that seeing the best in life is part of making yourself feel happy, and you should – there are so many reaosns to smile!
