One of the best things for stress, is to listen to peaceful relaxing music. Meditation is great also, its not difficult and can done simply by sitting on a chair, listening to some music and imagining a flame of a candle positioned in between the eyes as a point of focus. Off you go and goodbye to the stress.
Nice blog thanks.

I actually always keep this one quote that relates to stress/anxiety/worrying. "Worrying does not change the past, future, nor does it changes the present." So I tend to just push things aside when I am worrying. Perhaps listen to my Mp3 player, or watch a movie and chill.
My recent post <a href="http://pastamakerinfo.com/viante-cuc-25pm/">Viante CUC-25PM Review</a>

I started practicing transcendental meditation in the late 70s, and it was definitely instrumental in keeping me peaceful inside in the midst of potentially very stressful circumstances. Fortunately I discovered another way to create permanent unconditional freedom from stress, anxiety, powerlessness, etc (the whole emotional gamut). And most of my students have experienced the same.

"We have more distractions than ever before, we have more possessions than ever before, and we have more circumstances to worry about than ever before." I enjoyed your advice on how to keep returning to noticing the breath and understanding that it is the nature of the mind to move it's attention around and get distracted.

Thank you for an excellent post.

The economy gets an awful lot of blame for the stress we're all feeling. I once heard "it's a recession when you're neighbor loses his/her job, but it's a DEPRESSION when you lose yours!" So true. I take a natural supplement for my stress, and I also find exercise and plenty of sleep to be extremely helpful.
